SERVICES > Red Teaming

In comparison to a penetration test, red teaming follows a more open approach. The test is usually defined by goals that are set for the team. Performed over a longer period in time, the scope is open and only limited by legal bounds or limitations to protect against disasters.

Red team assignments usually include technical hacking, phishing and physical security. The testers use their knowledge to identify the attacks - or a combination thereof - that are most likely to achieve the goal of penetrating the target. X41 creates a technical report that describes all relevant goals achieved during the test. The report also includes a management summary, the strategies and activities followed to achieve the goal, and any observed defensive actions.

In addition to classic red team assignments, X41 also offers TLPT (Threat-Led Penetration Testing) where tactics, techniques and tools from actual threat actors are used. This helps to identify the resiliency and threat detection at your company against actual threat actors.
